Concert for Corey and Art Festival 2010 & 2011
With funds that were raised in 2010, 2011 and 2012, we were able to double the art scholarship that we award each spring at the Faribault High School.
Gifts of $2,000 were awarded to Matthew Roosmalen on May 28, 2010, to Marci Lessman on May 26, 2011 and to Micah Witt on May 24, 2012.

"Hey, I know this girl..."
That’s what “Cadence” lead guitarist Derek Hageness said when he noticed Corey’s picture on t-shirts displayed at this year’s Concert for Corey and Art Festival. Derek had attended UW Stout the fall of 2007 and remembered seeing Corey in the halls of the Art & Design building and also outside sitting and drawing. When he and his band accepted an offer to play at this year’s concert, he had no idea that he had seen her only days before she would be gone forever...
Nate Eul, our first scholarship recipient in 2008, had a booth at this year’s art festival where he was able to display and sell his work.
Concert for Corey and Art Festival 2009
Last year our festival raised $3,000 which was donated to the Paradise Center for the Arts in Faribault. Three plaques were added to their donation wall in memory of Corey, Chester and Jay.
