Scholarship Awards
With the generous support of family, friends and our local community, along with funds raised from our first Concert for Corey held in May 2008, we were able to establish the "Corey Lyn Creger Memorial Art Endowment" through the Faribault Area Schools Educational Trust Association (FAPSETA). With matching funds from Corey's Art Foundation, a $2,000 scholarship is awarded in Corey's memory each spring to a graduating Faribault High School senior pursuing an art related degree at an accredited institution.
The mission of FAPSETA is to provide a source of funds to assist in meeting the continuing educational goals of Faribault Public School students. Established in 1986, FAPSETA functions as a separate, tax-exempt entity that works closely with Independent School District 656. The Board of Directors is made up of business, education and community members who have a vested interest in the youth of this community.
